Matt has a farming background and comes from a family of small business owners. This has given him a strong understanding of the demands, challenges and rewards of managing and operating your own business. He believes the most important aspect to succeeding in business is to set goals and seek very good advice.

Matt has a passion for helping clients grow businesses. He provides hands on assistance and guidance to help clients achieve not just their business success but also their personal and family goals. He has a wealth of experience in guiding multi-generational family businesses to transition control and manage the transfer of inter-generational wealth.

Matt’s areas of speciality include logistics and transport, primary production, farm succession planning, business succession planning, estate planning and tax advisory. He enjoys working closely with clients to help provide direction, solutions and successful outcomes in the achievement of their goals.

Born and raised in Wagga Wagga, Matt started out his career with a cadetship KPMG in their Sydney business services division. He returned to Wagga for the fantastic lifestyle and business opportunities. He joined WDF in 2002.

Matt serves on the Board of Management for the Committee 4 Wagga as Founding Treasurer. He views it as a fantastic organisation to contribute to the economic and social growth of Wagga Wagga.

Outside of work, Matt can be found cheering on the Mangoplah Football Club and the Sydney Swans with his two sons. He loves camping, water skiing and spending time with his family.
