David Friedlieb

Consultant

David has been a Director with WDF since 1992. In 2015 he transitioned into his current role as a Consultant.

David has been a chartered accountant since 1980. David was a Partner with Big 6 firm Coopers & Lybrand in Albury, Newcastle, Singleton and Darwin before returning to Wagga in 1989.

In addition to his tax and compliance roles has had special interests in superannuation and business structures throughout his career. He enjoys building close relationships with clients in order to assist them through the various phases of their business and personal progression. He is now devoting more time to helping clients make the transition from full-time work to the next stage in life, in whatever form this may take. This includes winding down old structures and establishing new contemporary structures for the post-working phase, often a SMSF with a focus on simple administration.

The most rewarding aspects of David's time with WDF have been close ongoing relationships with clients, building a successful business and seeing staff grow and develop into qualified and effective client advisers.

Away from the office, David enjoys living in central Wagga Wagga and planning his own next phase, including regular contact with his four daughters and lots of travel. David enjoys community activities and is passionate about the Richmond Tigers.
