Drought Transport Subsidy Ending Soon

Round 3 of the drought transport subsidy is due to end on the 31 December 2020.
Invoices from 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2020 are now being accepted up to a cap of $25,000. This subsidy covers 50% of the costs of
eligible freight and is also available if you do your own cartage.
Note that purchased stock to farm freight has been added to the list of eligible transport costs from the 1st July 2020 and farm
chemical, fertiliser and seed was added from 1 July 2019.

- Stock to agistment
- Stock from agistment
- Stock to sale or slaughter
- Fodder for stock to properties

N.B. The subsidy for transport of seed, chemical & fertiliser is not exclusive to livestock producers.
We recommend that you get your applications in as soon as possible to ensure your application is processed before funds are exhausted.
